Solutions that don’t break the bank, reinvent the wheel or marginalize our teachers are within our grasp. We could have rigorous classes, safe and disciplined schools and treat teachers like professionals, and we could do so tomorrow if we wanted.
CAST post-test even more ridiculous. A 38% is a C. Only the bottom 2% make a D or F. There are 40 questions and 15 of them are rated "easy." So you can answer 10 of those, since they are common sense, then guess B for everything else and you'll probably get a C. Is anybody else worried about the country?
