Mrs. Wright grilled superintendent candidate Vitti about having supporters contact the board to sway their opinion. Okay it may have happened. Vitti has powerful local allies; the problem is her candidate Kriner Cash also has local allies that have invariably tried to sway the boards opinion too or does Mrs. Wright not remember the half dozen members of the NAACP who spoke at the last board meeting.
Why is something okay for the candidate she likes, but not okay for the candidate she doesn’t? The truth is both things are okay, people have the right to express their opinions to their elected leaders, what’s not right is Mrs. Wright’s pattern of hypocrisy.
